Remove the stabilizer link from the vehicle.
Check for deformation and damage.
Measure the torque of the ball joint.
After shaking from side to side of the ball stud 10 times.

Turn the ball joint on the finger 10 turns (Fig. 4.28).
Measure the drag torque, using a suitable socket and a torque wrench.
Moment of resistance: 0,23-0,47 Nm.
