Dismantling
Remove the cover and remove the strainer from the master cylinder reservoir. Unscrew and remove the screw fixing the tank. Remove the two O-rings. Place the cylinder in a vice. Using a screwdriver, push the pistons on the entire course, remove the retaining bolt and remove the O-ring.
NOTE Wrap the screwdriver or adhesive tape to prevent damage to the pistons and the cylinder bore. |
Push the plunger and use a screwdriver to remove the tonkogubtsev spring rings, remove the spring ring (Fig. 6.29).

Remove the locking bolt from the piston seal and remove the primary piston with a spring pulling it straight along the axis without bias (Fig. 6.30).
NOTE If the piston extract angled mirror can damage the cylinder. |
Put a cloth on the two pieces of wood and easy to knock the cylinder flange on the bars, until the secondary piston does not come out. Ensure that the distance (A) shown in the figure 6.31, from cloth to the top of the bars - 100 mm. Check for rust and scratches on the mirror of the cylinder. Check for wear and damage the cylinder. If necessary, replace the cylinder.
ATTENTION Replace all the parts in the repair kits used to service the master cylinder. At installation grease rubber parts with clean brake fluid to ease assembly. Do not use shop air to dry and clean parts of the brake mechanism. This can damage rubber parts. If any part of the hydraulic system remove or disconnect completely bleed the brake system. Follow all maintenance work on a clean bench. |
