Protivozanosnaya system (DSC)

Protivozanosnaya system (CCD) automatically controls the braking of the wheels and adjusts torque developed by the engine, together with the anti-lock braking and traction control to prevent lateral sliding and skidding when driving on a slippery road surface or with a sharp and vigorous maneuvering. Protivozanosnaya system enhances vehicle safety.
Protivozanosnaya system can function at vehicle speeds above 20 km / h.

ATTENTION
Protivozanosnaya system can not function properly if you do not adhere to the following conditions.
- On all wheels of a vehicle must have the same tire recommended dimension.
- All wheels must be fitted tires of the same brand, model, dimensions and with the same tread pattern, made at the same factory.
- Never place a car tire with a different degree of wear of the tread.
Protivozanosnaya system may not work properly if the wheels are chains or one of the wheels replaced by small-sized spare wheel. The cause of disruption of the normal functioning of the system is the difference protivozanosnoy rolling radius of the wheel.

After turning the ignition switch to ?ON? (ignition switched on) due to the dashboard can be heard a clicking sound. This sound is accompanied by a self-test protivozanosnoy system and does not indicate any malfunction.

Operation indicator / warning lamp and traction protivozanosnoy systems.
The indicator lights for a few seconds after turning the ignition switch to ?ON? (ignition on). Warning flashes when activated traction control (PBS) or protivozanosnoy system (CCD).
If the light stays on, it may indicate a violation of the normal functioning of BSS systems and CCD. This system may not work properly. Contact a official Mazda dealer to check the car.

Indicator off protivozanosnoy system.
The indicator lights for a few seconds after turning the ignition switch to ?ON? (ignition on). The indicator also lights up when you press the switch ?DSC OFF? and warns the driver that the ASR system and BSS system protivozanosnaya CCD disabled.

Switch ?DSC OFF? (Fig. 1.160).

Location switch ?«DSC OFF?»
Fig. 1.160. Location switch ?DSC OFF?

In order to disable the traction and protivozanosnaya system, press and hold the switch ?DSC OFF?, until the indicator lights ?DSC OFF?.
To re-enable the system BSS / CCD, press the switch again. This indicator ?DSC OFF? goes off.
If the system is not turned off the CCD, then stuck when trying to bring a car or leave the work fresh snow traction control BSS (which is part of protivozanosnoy CCD). When you press the accelerator pedal torque developed by the engine, will not increase, and the output of the vehicle will be difficult to jam.
In such cases, you must turn off the system, BSS / CCD.
If the system BSS / CCD disabled when the engine stopped, the ignition is switched on when the system will turn on automatically. Traction and protivozanosnaya system should generally be switched on. This will ensure the best stability of the vehicle.
