Circuit breakers



The electrical system of your vehicle is protected by fuses.

1. Cover the fuse panel

If any lighting elements, accessories, or controls do not work, check the appropriate circuit fuse. If it is blown, it will be visible melt thread.

If the same fuse blows again, avoid using the system as soon as possible and contact an authorized dealer of firm "Mazda".

Replacing fuses

1. Turn off the ignition and other electrical circuits.

2. Open the fuse panel.

3. Remove the fuse using a stripper, located on the fuse panel.

4. Inspect the fuse and, if it is blown, replace it with a new one.

5. Insert a new fuse with the same rating, and make sure that it is securely in place. If that does not work, contact an authorized dealer of firm "Mazda" for this operation.

If you do not have on hand spare fuses, borrow the fuse from the circuit, are not of critical importance to the operation of the vehicle, for example, from the radio.


A warning

Always replace a fuse with one having the same best ratings. Otherwise, you may damage the electrical system.

If the headlights or other electrical components do not work and the fuses in the cabin are intact, check the fuse box under the hood.

Perform the following procedure:

1. Turn off the ignition and other electrical circuits.

2. To remove the fuse box cover, remove it from the latch and pull it up from the ledge.

3. If the fuse is blown, replace it with a new, most with the same face values.

Replacing the fuse 100 A

1. Make sure the ignition is switched off.

2. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

3. Remove the nuts A.

4. Raise the switch unit and unscrew the bolt B.

5. Replace the fuse with a new, with the same rating.

6. Follow the procedures in reverse order to return the car in working condition.
