Driving tips
Overtaking For extra power when overtaking another vehicle or hill climbing, fully depress the accelerator. Drive switches to the next lower gear. Climbing a steep slope from a standing start To climb the steep slope of a stationary state:
1. Press the brake pedal.
2. Switch to D, S or L, depending on the cargo, and the steepness of the slope.
3. Release all brakes while pressing slowly on the accelerator. Descend the steep slope When descending a steep hill, switch to S or L, depending on the cargo, and the steepness of the slope. Descend slowly, using the brakes only occasionally to prevent them from overheating. Hold Mode Hold Mode cancels the automatic gear change and has three positions: the third (D), second (S) and the first (L). Using retention Use on hold while driving on slippery surfaces, with uphill and also to help the brakes during the descent from the mountain. Click hold to activate hold. Press the button again to turn off hold. When the hold mode is enabled D (move) Drive held in third gear. However, it automatically switches to the second stop and when returned to the third gear for smoother acceleration. S (second gear) Drive held in second gear. Not drive the vehicle at a speed exceeding 108 km / hr (68 miles / hour) at a given position. L (low speed) Drive will be held on the first transfer. Do not drive the vehicle at a speed exceeding 60 km / h (38 miles / hour) at that position. Driving gears on hold D - hold - 3rd (2nd temporarily to initiate movement from a standing start)
