Preliminary checks PERFORMANCE ORDER | 1. Warm up the engine and gearbox to normal operating temperature. | 2. Check the transmission fluid level: a) if the level is too low, add a liquid and repeat the test; b) if the level is too high, drain the excess fluid; c) If the liquid foams, drain it and pour a new one. Check whether the liquid gets the engine cooling system in the transmission fluid. | 3. Check engine idle speed. | 4. Check the throttle cable. | 5. Check the operation of the gearshift. |

Finding leaks If you find that leaking transmission fluid, it is necessary to accurately determine its location. To do this, warm up the engine and set the car on a clean sheet of cardboard. After a few minutes, you can easily locate the leak of spots formed on the cardboard.
