Cleaning Engine
In the area of the engine eventually formed a significant plaque from a mixture of oil and dust. This is primarily an aesthetic problem, you can fix with a special detergent. We also need washing of the engine and engine compartment. Salt, which is sprayed roads in winter, falls through the cracks under the hood and is deposited on the heat sink, cables, and other details. This coating prevents the evaporation of salt water and corrosion increases. After washing, check whether there is enough grease levers and rods, control cables. If necessary, lubricate them further.
Cleaning is carried out on the cold engine, as on the warm engine cleaner to evaporate, without having to work on a film of dirt. 1. Turn off the ignition. 2. Close the electronic control unit, a generator and a fuel supply system with a cloth or a plastic bag, or necessarily any interference in the ignition or the on-board electronics. 3. Start with a hood. Rinse with plenty of water, then clean the car shampoo, using a sponge, and then rinse with water. Do not forget the stiffeners of the engine - it accumulates the greatest amount of dirt. 4. Radiator wash with plenty of water, using the tip of a narrow hose. Land with the remains of insects treat the detergent dissolves protein (dishwashing detergent).
A WARNING Hard soft brushes can damage the radiator fins. |
5. Rinse the grooves and profiled parts.

PRACTICAL ADVICE Nail motor protection To accumulate less dirt on the engine and in the surrounding area, treat the periphery of the engine and the special heat-resistant protective varnish (). For the remaining areas is sufficient to use spray or a protective agent for the preservation of rice. 3.10 |
