Coolant hoses

Repair or replacement use only the appropriate type and model of the engine coolant hoses.
Hose Breaks often occur in the way, so there is a need to quickly troubleshoot. If a large gap on the hose, can one turn unscrew the expansion tank cap or radiator, to relieve pressure in the system. Constantly monitor the temperature and the level of coolant, drive to the nearest service.
When replacing hoses, proceed as follows:
- Drain the coolant as described above;
- Have screw clamps how to loosen the clamping screw at the spring - all the way to squeeze both ends;
- Pull the hose. If he keeps firmly, gently squeeze screwdriver hose from the nipple;
- Install a new hose on fitting. For mounting use screw clamps, but do not be too hard to tighten the clamp screw to avoid damaging the threads and collar crashed into the hose;
- If the hose has a special metal clip, check its sealing ring. When installing simply click on the locking device until the clip locks itself.
