Vacuum pump

Location of the vacuum pump shown in Fig. 302. The roller 1 is set only on the turbo diesel engine. When removing or installing the pump, follow these steps:
- Remove the air filter and the drive belt;
- Remove the tension roller 1 drive belt (if installed), which remove the cover and unscrew the bolt with the Allen;
- Remove the vacuum hose from the vacuum pump 5 3. When installing the cap nut tighten the moment 30 Nm;
- To turn on the vacuum pump. If necessary, crank the engine for the release of the piston pump. After removing the pump to remove the gasket 2 and immediately clean the seat. The gasket should always be replaced. If the pump is replaced due to failure of the bearing, check the area around the pump for the presence of metal particles;
Installation is performed in reverse order. Bolt pump tighten to 9 Nm.
