Lock start

For safety reasons, vehicles can be equipped with a start-up blocker that lets the engine start up only when the manual selector lever in position P or N. The locking switch is located on the side, on the left by the KP when you try to start with the gear engaged interrupts the chain (violet-white wire, pin connector "50") between the ignition and starter.
When the ignition key is the engine does not start, there may be a fault in the wiring or the switch itself. You can carry out the following checks:
- To slow down the vehicle parking brake;
- Turn the ignition key to the "start" and at the same time to change gear selector gearbox;
- If the engine does not start, make a pigtail jumper from the positive terminal of the battery directly, bypassing the switch to the pin "50". The starter should start.

A warning
