Removing and installing sump



The automatic gearbox sump sludge going. For a car with high mileage is recommended to remove and thoroughly clean the sump. To perform this task does not require special tools and a great experience. Removal and installation of crankcase must be conducted in the following order:
- Translate the selector in position P to set the vehicle on a support;
- Unscrew the drain plug in the sump and drain the liquid, as described above;

- Unscrew bolts 2 (fig. 345) and remove the crankcase sump 3. Remove the gasket 1;
- Thoroughly clean the pan and set in reverse order of removal with a new seal. Bolts tighten to 7 N ?� m;
- Drain plug torque to 14 Nm, and pour the liquid, as previously described.
