Replacement Bearing Kit



The device is the hub of the front wheel

Replacement Bearing Kit should be carried out in the following order (according to Fig. 216):

- Using dvuhlapogo puller to remove the inner bearing and collar. Remove from the hub of the outer ring of the internal bearing. In Fig. 217 shows how to install a universal dvuhlapy puller;
- Similarly remove the outer ring of the outer bearing on the outside of the hub;
- If necessary, turn away from the hub brake disc. To do this, unscrew the Allen bolt on the inside, holding a pre-drive through the gasket in a vice;
- Check on the hub flange runout. Check also threaded mounting holes of the wheels, bearings and bearing the landing site.
Bearings must be replaced if damaged revealed the following:
- Tapered rollers in the outer bearing cages are dents caused by peeling chrome coating of the inner ring;
- Roller found pockets of corrosion caused by water seepage through faulty cuff;
- Bearing outer ring has a light brown or blue (discoloration) due to overheating;
- If necessary, replacement of the bearing should be replaced by the second. Always use a pair of bearings producer. If you install a used bearing take care not to confuse sometimes rings and separators.
When installing the bearings, proceed as follows:
- First pressed into the outer ring of the bearing hub;
- Prepare a prescribed amount of lubricant (about 50 g) of the hub and bearings;
- How to lubricate the inner bearing separator;
- Insert the inner ring with cage into the hub, on the front surface of the rollers lubricate. Lay the grease between the working and gryazeuplotnitelnoy edge of the cuff, and then gently extrude it into the hub, being careful not to damage;
- Fill in the remaining grease hub;
- Install the hub as described in the previous section.
