If the vehicle is equipped with seat belts with height-adjustable intermediate bracket, you should pull the belt, push the caliper on both sides, as shown in Fig. 1.37, and slide the bracket to the desired position. The shoulder belt is on the shoulder should be placed as close to the neck, but in any case not the neck or arm. Improper positioning of the belt reduces its effectiveness as a means of passive protection in a traffic accident and increases the likelihood of injury.
