The cylinder block is cast iron, cast integrally with the cylinder (Fig. 2.5 and 2.6). Cylinders diameter divided into three size groups (Table 2.1.). The nominal height of the engine block GA is A = 213,95-214,05 mm (Fig. 2.7).

The engine used SR20DE cast frame main bearing, providing additional rigidity of the cylinder, and a more complex design of the sump, which consists of aluminum and steel crankcase and oil guard.
