Nissan engine cooling system with forced circulation of the coolant provided by a centrifugal pump. It is a Poly-V belt from the crankshaft pulley. The system includes a radiator, expansion tank, water pump, thermostat, pipes and one or two fan depending on the configuration. Details of the cooling system shown in Fig. 2.67. The water pump is mounted on the front cover timing gear. The thermostat is set near the water pump (Fig. 2.68).
The temperature of the beginning of the opening of the main valve of the thermostat 76,5 ? C. The full stroke of the main valve 8 mm corresponds to a coolant temperature of 90 ? C.
The radiator cooling system with vertical aluminum tubes and plastic tank. On vehicles with automatic transmission to the lower radiator tank built maslovodyanoy exchanger.
Pressure safety valve radiator cap 0.8-1.0 kg / cm2.
Expansion tank with a capacity of 0.7 liters is made of plastic, mounted in the engine compartment to the right front wheel arch.
Coolant temperature to reflux temperature coefficient. The sensor resistance at 60 ? C is 70-90 ohms at 100 ? C - 21-24 ohms.
On cars with a manual gearbox set a single-speed blower motor, switched via relay. On vehicles with manual transmission and air conditioning are installed two single-speed fan. On vehicles with automatic transmission, two two-speed fan, which included two relays. The fans are mounted behind the radiator cooling system. Relays are located in the relay established in the engine compartment. Resistance control relay coil 75 ohms.
