Lubrication system

Engine lubrication is carried out under the pressure created by a gear oil pump driven by the crankshaft. The lubrication system includes, in addition, the oil filter and pressure reducing valve which limits the pressure of the oil.

Details of the lubrication system and engine GA14DE GA16DE
Fig. 2.72. Details of the lubrication system and engine GA14DE GA16DE: 1 - the oil filter; 2 - the dipstick to check the oil level; 3 - the gauge of pressure of oil;
4 - the plug mounting the oil filter; 5 - guide tube probe to check the oil level; 6 - The front cover is timing;
7 - driven gear oil pump; 8 - the oil pump drive gear; 9 - a cover of the oil pump; 10 - Drive hub of the oil pump;
11 - a sealing ring; 12 - oil receiver; 13 - piston pressure reducing valve; 14 - a spring; 15 - tube relief valve; 16 - oil sump; 17 - drain plug; 18 - the block of cylinders

Details of engine lubrication SR20DE
Fig. 2.73. Details of engine lubrication SR20DE: 1 - a cover of a drive of camshafts; 2 - a cover of the oil pump; 3 - screw fixing the oil pump cover; 4 - bolt cover of the oil pump; 5 - the nut oil receiver; 6 - a sealing ring; 7 - oil receiver with strainer; 8 - bolt oil receiver; 9 - the driving gear; 10 - driven gear; 11 - piston pressure reducing valve; 12 - a spring; 13 - a sealing ring; 14 - tube relief valve

Apparatus lubrication system shown in Fig. 2.72 and 2.73.
Gear type oil pump installed in front of the timing cover.
The engine SR20DE mounted oil cooler for additional cooling oil.

Placement of the oil pressure sensor
Fig. 2.74. Placement of the oil pressure sensor

Oil pressure sensor (Fig. 2.74) is screwed into the rear plane of the cylinder on the right side of the oil filter. Oil pressure warning light comes on when the oil pressure drops below 0.2 kgf / cm2.
Engine oil filter Nissan 15208-type molded N8903, installed at the rear of the engine block. Above the oil filter mounting sleeve is a bypass valve, which is triggered in the event of clogging of the oil filter. Capacity filter 0.4 liters. When changing the oil, the oil filter is replaced.
