Obviously, the exhaust system in this guide models have different designs, so that we confine ourselves to the description of the model catalyst. On models without a catalyst, the latter is replaced by a silencer. On the graphics front part of the exhaust system of a vehicle with an engine SR20DE and front part of the exhaust system of the carburettor engine shows the front part of the exhaust system of the injection and carburetor engines. In the shows the rear part of the system, which with a few differences practically the same for all models. However, the location and securing the back of a little different, what you quickly make during the inspection of the installed system.

Guided by these illustrations do the following work:

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Prop up the system from the bottom to the suspension has been weakened.
  2. Loosen the screws on the underside of the exhaust manifold and remove the exhaust front pipe from the manifold. Depending on the performance of the collector attached single or double reception pipe.
  3. Unscrew all heat shields with the lower side of the exhaust system.
  4. Remove the nut and bolt to disconnect the tube from the metal bracket.
  5. Remove the oxygen sensor from the exhaust front pipe, when it comes to fuel-injected engine.
  6. Remove the bolts and remove the suspension of the muffler.
  7. To remove the front portion of the system, remove the nut, remove the screws from the top and remove the tube from the catalyst.
  8. To remove the back part of the system, remove the nuts and loosen the rubber suspension. If you want to remove only the main silencer and / or the tube, remove the fasteners according to and unscrew the pipe back on the connecting flange of the muffler or a catalyst. In the non-catalytic medium is disposed between the main pipe and the muffler pipe and reception must be attenuated accordingly.
  9. Dismantle the system as required, if the system has been removed in the kit and insert new items.
  10. When installing the components described, consider the following, if the entire system is replaced by:
  11. All torques shown in the accompanying illustrations.
  1. Install any suspension in accordance with the wiring diagram.
