The gear change mechanism

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Set the parking brake.
2. Set the gear lever to the neutral position.
3. Remove the bolt 21 (see. Fig. The gear change mechanism).
4. Slide the collar 20.
5. Remove the handle 25 the gear lever in the car.
6. Remove the cover 24.
7. Remove nuts 29.
8. Remove the gear shift lever assembly from the interior.

Setting

The installation of the gear lever is produced in reverse order of removal, brushing with the ball joint.

Adjusting the gearshift

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Place the transmission in neutral.
2. Loosen the bolt 21.
3. The second person in the car must be accurately set the gear lever to the position corresponding to neutral gear and keep it in this position. In the meantime, tighten the clamp bolt 21 20.

Eccentric adjustment


A warning

Since January 1991, instead of a ball joint on the gear lever establish the adjusting eccentric 3 (see. Fig. Adjustment eccentric).


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Turn on the first transmission.
2. Loosen the bolt 1.
3. Turn adjusting eccentric 3, setting the size of "a" is equal to 1-1.5 mm.
4. Tighten the bolt 1.
