Installation of the power unit assembly



For installation of the power unit:
- A starter set with the front engine mount bracket in place, tighten the bolts with demanded effort;
- Resorting to outside help, a lifting device, enter the assembly of engine and gearbox to the engine compartment, so that first entered the gearbox housing;
- Position the assembly in the engine compartment so that the bracket on the rear legs of the engine coincide with the attachment points on the body. Mounting tabs located on the metal disk should enter into the indentations on the reverse side of the motor mount;
- Install the front crossbeam engine mounts. Lightly clean engine oil thread mounting bolts, and then insert and tighten their demanded moment. Be careful until the bolts cross beam should not act in any weight;
- Install rubber block the front engine mounting in the slot in the crossbar, and then insert the mounting bolt on the back side of the transverse beams and torque tighten;
- Lower the power unit in place, ensure the placement guides on the front engine mount in recesses in the mounting bracket. Screw engine mount bolts by hand;
- Disconnect and move aside the lifting device;
- Power plant unit on the bearing, tighten the fixing bolts to the proper torque;
- Connect, as described in the relevant chapter, the drive shafts;
- Connect the "masses" of the engine to the body;
- If the vehicle is equipped with a transmission with manual switching, connect the gearshift gearbox and check the operation of the gearshift. If necessary, adjust the rod or shift cable. Connect the speedometer sensor wiring and reverse;
- If by design, install clutch slave cylinder, and then bleed the hydraulic clutch;
- If the vehicle is equipped with a cable-operated clutch, connect the cable to the gearbox and then check the operation of the automatic adjustment mechanism;
- If the vehicle is equipped with an automatic transmission selector lever cable to connect the gearbox, check and adjust if necessary. Secure all hoses are removed;
- Add the liquid in the cooling system, observing the required concentration of antifreeze;
- Made labels using, connect the wiring that is not in the main wiring harness, then the generator, a starter and main engine wiring harness. Make sure the wiring harness on the entire length was laid as it was located before, away from those sites that have a high temperature and can rub against it;
- Connect the throttle cable and adjust it.
