Pressure regulator

On vehicle models Golf III / Vento, depending on the engine power set the following types of pressure regulators:
- Control, operation of which depends on the pressure in the brake master cylinder (for models with engines of 1.4 liters);
- Control, operation of which depends on the load on the rear axle (all other models).

NOTE
On models equipped with ABS and manufactured since February 1995 no pressure regulators in hydraulic rear brake is not. This feature automatically block ABS.

Pressure regulator distributes the brake fluid diagonally between the front and rear wheels and reduces the pressure in the hydraulic drive the rear wheels when braking the vehicle. Pressure can be measured by means of two manometers. The test should be carried out on completely filled an empty car with a driver behind the wheel. If the controller is normal, the pressure in the front and rear circuits connected ratios presented in Table. 8.2.
