Flushing the Cooling System



Flushing the cooling system in the following order:
- Drain the cooling liquid;
- Install the drain plug of the radiator into place and fill the cooling system with fresh water. For best results, you can use a special wash additive.
- Install the reservoir tank cover;
- Start the engine and warm it up to normal operating temperature;
- Turn off the engine, let it cool and drain the water from the cooling system;
- Repeat the washing operation of the cooling system as long as the water will not spill out clean;
- Fill the cooling system with new coolant;
- Flushing the radiator drain the cooling system, and then disconnect the hoses from the base and the top of the radiator tank. Insert a garden hose into the upper radiator hose and let the water through the radiator until the water comes out clean from the nozzle at the base of the radiator;
- Flushing the motor, insert a garden hose into the outlet of the thermostat and let the water through the engine until the water comes out clean from the bottom of the hose;
- Flush the radiator heater, pre-heater valve open and disconnected from the heater hoses. To one of schtutserov connect the hose and rinse the jet of pure water as long as the water will not flow out of the other nipple clean.
