Fig. 15.58. Windscreen washer system: 1 - jet washer; 2 - a collar; 3 - a hose; 4 - tee; 5 - hose connection; 6 - plug washer fluid reservoir; 7 - an arm of the reservoir; 8 - plastic nuts (M5); 9 - a tank

Washer pump from fluid hose to the rear window mounted on the tank (touring)
Fig. 15.59. Washer pump from fluid hose to the rear window mounted on the tank (touring)

In Fig. 15.58 shows a device windshield washer. On vehicles with a station wagon in the system includes the rear window washer. In Fig. 15.59 shows the washer pump. The impeller pump mounted inside the washer fluid reservoir through a pass-through rubber seal.

The direction of the fluid jets from the windshield washer jets
Fig. 15.60. The direction of the fluid jets from the nozzles of the windshield washer: a = 420mm, b = 270mm, c = 520mm, d = 640mm and e = 430mm, f = 400mm

In Fig. 15.60 shows the operation of the windshield washer. The direction of the jet flushing system is regulated by turning the nozzle head with a needle or sharp object inserted into the nozzle. When adjusting, do not apply too much effort, use only sharp and thin object because of the risk to increase the jets that will adversely affect the flow of washer fluid.
