Removal and installation of a three-phase generator, the engine of 1.6 liters with injection



ATTENTION
When disconnecting and connecting the battery, always observe the sequence of actions described in the workshop manual.

Withdrawal
Disconnect the battery.
Pulling up, remove the engine cover.

Disconnect connector wire DF 1 and remove the protective cap 2 (Fig. 7.12).
Remove the wire from the generator B +.

ATTENTION
Before removing, mark direction of travel and the upper side of the V-ribbed belt with chalk or marker. When set in the proper direction and position of the sides of the belt.
Changing the direction of movement or parties formerly operated V-belt leads to damage

Mark direction of travel V-ribbed belt.

Loosen the V-belt tension by turning the element in the direction of the arrow (Fig. 7.13).
Fix the tension element via the locking pin

Remove V-ribbed belt (Fig. 7.14).

Unlock coolant hose from the bracket 1 and remove the fixing nut 2 (Fig. 7.15).
Remove the fixing bolts

Remove the holder with the tension element of the vehicle (Fig. 7.16).

Remove the mounting bolts of the generator (Fig. 7.17).

Remove the wires from the generator holder (Fig. 7.18).
Remove the generator.

Setting
Installation is performed in reverse order, with the following should be considered.

ATTENTION
When installing poly V-belt operated previously marked during removal, observe the direction of movement

Before installing poly V-belt, check and tighten all assemblies (generator, air conditioning compressor).
When installing the belt in the proper position of the V-ribbed belt on pulleys

Gently shake a threaded bushes And approximately 4 mm apart, in the direction of arrows from the housing of the generator (Fig. 7.19).

Screw holder wires on the back side of the generator in position 3 h (clock face) (Fig. 7.20).
Tighten to the specified torque.

ATTENTION
Observe the mounting terminals to the terminals of the battery.

Connect the battery.
Start the engine and check the progress of the belt.
Turn off the engine.
