Removing and installing brake light switch F



Withdrawal
Disconnect the battery.
Remove the air intake hose, the air filter (in vehicles with diesel engines and some gasoline) and battery.
On vehicles with 6-cyl. gasoline engine battery in the luggage compartment; accordingly necessary to remove only the air filter housing.
Remove the battery box holder.

Disconnect connector 1 from the brake switch F (Fig. 6.45).
2 Remove the bolt from the brake master cylinder.
Pull the switch braking signal F3 from the top of the master cylinder and remove the bottom of the locking tab.

Setting
Installation is carried out in reverse order.

Torque
Torx screws to the master cylinder 5 Nm.
