Removing and installing oil pan



Withdrawal
Remove protection crankcase.
Remove the front exhaust pipe from the exhaust manifold.

Disconnect the 3-pin connector on the sensor level and oil temperature 1 (Fig. 2.55).
Drain the engine oil.
Loosen compacted sealing fluid sump.
Remove the oil pan. To remove the oil pan can be accurately use a rubber mallet.
Remove residual sealant on the cylinder block with a flat scraper.
Remove residual sealant on the oil sump with a rotating brush attachment, such as a hand drill with a set of brushes, nozzles with plastic bristles (wear protective goggles).
Clean seating surfaces. They must be free of oil and grease.

Setting
Cut the tip of the tube at the front marking (hole about 3 mm).

NOTE
Observe the shelf life of the sealant.
The oil pan to be installed within 5 minutes after the application of the silicone sealant.
The oil pan is installed easily and accurately, if in two places on the flange of the cylinder as a guide screw threaded pins M6.

Apply silicone sealant as shown in the figure, to clean the seating surface of the oil pallet. Bead of sealant should be 2-3 mm in thickness.
In places holes fastening screws, apply sealant on the inside

NOTE
Harness the sealant should be no thicker than a specified size, as otherwise excess sealant could enter the sump and clog the strainer in maslozabornom pipe.

Immediately install the oil pan and lightly tighten all bolts.
Tighten bolts sump with a torque of 13 Nm.

NOTE
After installation of the sump sealant must be dry in about 30 minutes. Only then can be filled with engine oil.
