Repair subframe



Remove the rear wheels.
Remove the coil springs.
Disconnect the electrical connectors located between the nodes of the rear axle and the body.
Remove the stabilizer.
Fix the car on both sides of the lift bracket with tensioning belts.
Otherwise, it could slip off the hoist
Under the sub-frame set for the jack of engines and transmissions with universal support for transmission units and secure stretcher belt.

On both sides, unscrew the hex bolts 1 and 2 (Fig. 4.63).

NOTE
For the purpose of clarity, the figure shows only the left side of the car.
To fix the frame, must at positions 1 and 2 on both sides of the vehicle in turns screw fixing devices.

Lock the stretcher clamps (Fig. 4.64).

NOTE
Clamps should be tightened torque not exceeding 20 Nm, because otherwise you can damage their threads.

On both sides of the queue replace the subframe bolts on clamps and tighten to 20 Nm.
Now the position of the sub-frame is fixed.
With tilting device for the engine and gearbox on the lower subframe 10 cm.
Remove the front rubber mounts.

Install special tools

Install special tools (Fig. 4.65).
Set up the instrument by tightening the screw nut.
Using the pump, press out the silent block.

NOTE
If you remove the rubber bearing outer ring of the bearing cut. It is accompanied by a loud sound.

After removing the rubber bearing needs to be knocked out of the tube light hammer blows.

Installing the front Hobs
On the stretcher set tooling with silent block. See Figure 4.65.
Set up the instrument by tightening the screw nut.
By pressing the pedal pump, gently press in silent block until the shoulder is not "close" fit the subframe.
Remove the rear rubber mounts
Install special tools. See Figure 4.65.
Using the pump, press out the silent block.

NOTE
If you remove the rubber bearing outer ring of the bearing cut. It is accompanied by a loud sound.
After removing the rubber bearing needs to be knocked out of the tube light hammer blows.

Installing the rear silent blocks

Install special tools on the stretcher

On the stretcher set tooling with silent block. See Figure 4.66.
Set up the instrument by tightening the screw nut.
By pressing the pedal pump, gently press in silent block until the bead is not flat against the subframe.
Further installation in reverse order.
Bleed the brake system.
Adjust the wheel alignment.
