Check the mechanism selector lever lock

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Turn on the ignition.
2. Make sure that the selector lever is in position P.
3. Make sure that the selector lever can not be moved from the position P to any other position when the brake pedal is not pressed.
	4. Make sure that the selector lever can be moved from position P to any other position with the brake pedal depressed.
5. Move the selector lever to position R.
6. Check that the situation has not changed the ignition switch to LOCK.
7. Move the selector lever to position P.
8. Make sure that the situation did not change the ignition switch to LOCK.
9. If necessary, adjust.

Adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Verify that the selector lever is in position P.
	2. Remove the cover and insert a screwdriver into the hole near the selector lever.
3. Adjust the position of the selector lever.
