2. If the damage of the rubber plug 11 should be replaced.
3. When installing a gear belt pulley 15 of the crankshaft between the pulley and the shaft of grease. The pulley can be installed in only one position.
4. When you install, replace with new bolts of 16 and 21. When unscrewing and screwing bolts 16 hold the pulley from turning special tool 3415.
5. V-belt pulley 20, combined with the vibration damper can be installed in only one position.

Withdrawal

Unscrew the bottom and middle toothed belt (see. Fig. 3.3.36).

Installation of the piston of the first cylinder in TDC
Fig. 3.3.37. Installation of the piston of the first cylinder at TDC: 1 - a groove between two ridges (1) on the back plate of the pulley of the camshaft; 2 - mark 4Z on a back casing of a gear belt; 3359 - the locking rod

Rotating the crankshaft in the direction of working rotation at pulley bolt, install the first cylinder to the top dead center (TDC), the groove between the two ledges 1 (Fig. 3.3.37) on the back plate of the camshaft pulley must be aligned with the mark 4Z (Pos. 2 on Fig. 3.3.37), rear casing toothed belt.
The arrows indicate the location of the bolts toothed belt pulley.
Install a locking pin 3359 or drill shank 6 mm in diameter into the hole and secure the camshaft pulley from turning.

Fixing the toothed belt pulley of the crankshaft a special tool T10050
Fig. 3.3.38. Fixing the toothed belt pulley of the crankshaft a special tool T10050: 1 - pointer to the device T100500; 2 - label on a pulley

Special adaptation T10050 lock toothed belt pulley of the crankshaft 1 (Fig. 3.3.38), and the label on a pulley 2 should be combined with the index on the device. When installing the device T10050 its projection shall enter into the groove of the cylinder.

The weakening of the tension of the toothed belt on the diesel engine of 1,9 l
Fig. 3.3.39. The weakening of the tension of the toothed belt on the diesel engine of 1,9 l

Allen key slowly turn counterclockwise toothed belt tensioner pulley in this position and secure the locking rod tensioner T10008 (Fig. 3.3.39).
Loosen the nut of a roller.

A WARNING
Chalk, markers or paint mark the direction of rotation of the toothed belt. After setting the belt rotates in the opposite direction, which may result in its destruction.

Location bolts toothed belt tensioner
Fig. 3.3.40. Location bolts toothed belt tensioner

Remove the bolts and remove the toothed belt tensioner (Fig. 3.3.40).
Remove the timing belt.

WARNINGS
1. Do not twist or bend a gear belt. Exclude hit on a toothed belt oil, coolant or fuel.
2. If there is chipping of teeth of the toothed belt, possibly jammed water pump, oil pump or camshaft.
3. The gap toothed belt with the engine running can cause valves to strike the pistons, causing the valves can become deformed.
4. Check the valve clearances. In the deformed valves they are much more required.
5. If the outer surface of the toothed belt is significantly worn or stratified, check the condition of the pulleys.
If wear or damage are found only on one side of the belt, check the guide toothed belt and pulley parallelism of the toothed belt.
If you find any defects toothed belt replace it with new.
6. Previously filmed belt set in accordance with the put labels.

NOTE
If it is necessary to crank the camshaft when removing the toothed belt, the crankshaft should not be in the end of the compression stroke, in any of the cylinders. In this case can be an impact of pistons and valves opening and the engine will be damaged. Note the position and turn the crankshaft a quarter turn in one direction or another.

Setting
Installation of the timing belt is carried out on cold engine.
Install a locking pin 3359 or drill shank 6 mm in diameter into the hole and secure the camshaft pulley from turning (see. Fig. 3.3.37).
Special adaptation T10050 lock toothed belt pulley of the crankshaft 1 (see. Fig. 3.3.38), and the label on a pulley 2 should be combined with the index on the device. When installing the device T10050 its projection shall enter into the groove of the cylinder.
Toothed belt tensioner must be fixed pivot T10008 (see. Fig. 3.3.39).
Alternately unscrew one turn (but do not unscrew completely) bolts camshaft pulley (see. Fig. 3.3.37). Camshaft pulley must rotate freely on the camshaft, but not have excessive play.
Turn toothed belt pulley clockwise until it stops. Rotation is possible due to the elongated hole in the pulley.
Put the toothed belt on the camshaft pulley, tensioner pulley, crankshaft pulley and the water pump pulley.
Install the timing belt tensioner.
Adjust the toothed belt tension as follows.

The direction of rotation of the eccentric tensioning roller until it stops (A) to extract the locking rod T10008
Fig. 3.3.41. The direction of rotation of the eccentric tensioning roller until it stops (A) to extract the locking rod T10008

Special key 3387, turn the eccentric roller tensioner anti-clockwise until it stops A (Fig. 3.3.41).
Remove the locking mechanism of a tension rod T10008.

The direction of rotation of the eccentric tensioning roller for setting the toothed belt tensioner
Fig. 3.3.42. The direction of rotation of the eccentric tensioning roller for setting the toothed belt tensioner: 1 - a nut, 25 Nm; 2 - Drill diameter 4 mm; a = (4,0 ? 1,0) mm

3387 The key turn the eccentric tensioning roller clockwise so that between the tensioner arm and the housing can be inserted into the drill shank diameter of 4 mm (Fig. 3.3.42).
Hold the eccentric roller in this position, tighten the nut 1 (see. Fig. 3.3.42) fixing roller 20 N ? m and tighten to 45 ?.
Tighten pulley toothed belt camshaft to 25 N ? m (see. Fig. 3.3.37).
Remove the locking pin 3359 and the special tool T10050.
Turn the hand crankshaft two turns.
Make sure that the distance between the tensioner arm and the body is 4 mm (see. Fig. 3.3.42). If the distance is not correct, adjust the tension roller as follows.
Hold the tension roller 3387 special wrench, unscrew the nut 1 (see. Fig. 3.3.42) and turn the eccentric tensioning roller clockwise so that the mechanism of a tension between the lever and the housing can be inserted into the drill shank diameter of 4 mm.
Hold the eccentric tensioning roller in this position, tighten the nut 1 (see. Fig. 3.3.42) fixing roller 20 N ? m and tighten to 45 ?.
Establish a pulley radiator fan with viscous coupling and secure it with screws, with the key 3212 hold it against rotation (see. Fig. 3.3.32).
Install poly V-belt.
Install the front cross bar to the starting position.
