Replacing the parking brake cable



Front parking brake cable, replace it with the excessive stretching (inability to adjust the handbrake), mechanical damage, or live cable threaded tip.
You will need: the key "10", using a flat-blade and Phillips-nose pliers.
1. Remove the back of the lining of the tunnel floor (see. "Removal and installation of facing of a tunnel floor").

NOTE
The driver's seat is removed for clarity. In order to access to the attachments to the lining and adjusting the parking brake assembly, remove the seat is not required.

2. Lower the parking brake lever all the way down, completely unscrew and remove the threaded tip of the front cable adjusting nut.
3. Remove the tip of a cable from the guide the parking brake lever.
4. Use a screwdriver to bend the two tabs sheath ...
5. ... and disconnect the cable from the front of the lever.
6. Remove the bottom of the car with the brackets on the back cushion suspension additional silencer and take down the exhaust system, as it allows the elasticity of the remaining suspension cushions.
7. Remove termoekran additional muffler (see. "Removing and installing Thermoscreens").
8. Disconnect from the equalizer tips rear drive cables, moving them out of the slots equalizer.
9. Remove the base of the holes of the front body cover cable and remove the cable from the vehicle by pulling the cable down through the hole in the bottom of the body.
10. Install the front parking brake cable and all the removed parts in reverse order of removal.
11. Adjust the parking brake system (see. "Adjusting parking brake").
