Start the engine from the external power sources
If you can not start up the engine due to a partial or full discharge of the battery, then to start, you can use the battery of another vehicle. To connect batarei- "donor" use special connecting cables with clips of the "Crocodile".
WARNINGS When the engine is started by an additional battery carefully observe the sequence of work set out in this section. Otherwise, it may result in fire or explosion causing damage to both vehicles. Before connecting the external battery pack, make sure the ignition is off. Turn off and all electrical consumers (lights, radio, windshield wipers, etc.). When connecting and disconnecting cables, do not allow their mutual contact, and the contact wire with fans, belts and other rotating parts. Do not disconnect the wires to the outside of the battery until the engine runs on normal idle. If, during engine start from the additional battery sound system left on, it could seriously damaged. Always turn off the sound system before starting the motor from the battery of another vehicle. |
1. Position the vehicle with the discharged battery near avtomobilem- "donor" within reach of the connecting cables.
A WARNING Cars in any case should not touch. Otherwise, it may happen undesired circuit on "weight", whereby you will not be able to start up the engine of the car with the discharged battery, and electrical systems of both vehicles can be damaged. |
2. slow down the parking brake both cars.
A WARNING If the electrolyte level is strongly reduced or electrolyte looks frozen, do not attempt to start up the engine from the additional battery. In this case, the risk of explosion discharged battery! |

NOTE The requirement for joining the wire at maximum distance from the battery due to the possibility of arcing at the time of accession. |
10. Make sure that you have attached the cables in the correct order and they do not come into contact with moving parts of the engine. 11. When using the battery installed in the automobile "donors", start up the engine of the car and let it run a few minutes at idle until steady work. 12. Start up the engine of the car with the discharged battery and let it run until stable idle speed. 13. Disconnect the cables in the order strictly inverse order of their accession.
