The battery is not recharged






By car, two power supply - battery and the generator. Battery used when starting the engine and for supplying an electric current voltage of 12 V starter and other consumers with the engine off.
When the engine is running, the main source of current - Generator - enables an electric shock all consumers, including the ignition system, and charges the battery.
If the instrument cluster lights up red light discharge of the battery, so no current flows from the generator to the onboard network and the amount of energy consumed battery.
