Rear window



1 - molding rear window;

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Before removing the windshield, remove the following items:

- Disconnect the connector from the rear window defogger;
- Upper pillar trim;
- The bolt of the upper part of the rear seat belt;
- The rear parcel shelf.
2. Remove the rear window in the same manner as the windshield.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. The special tool or knife cut off the old sealant layer to a thickness of 2 mm around the perimeter of the frame and rear window.

A warning

Be careful not to remove the sealant is greater than necessary, as well as not to damage the paintwork of the vehicle.


2. Degrease the treated surface.
3. Attach the rear window to the window opening, and at four points on the body mark the installation of the glass.
4. Stick the rubber pad to the inner surface of the rear window.

The height of the layer of sealant
"B" - four-door cars:
Above: 13.5 mm
On both sides: 13.5 mm
Bottom: 27 mm
"C" - three five-door cars:
Top: 23 mm
On both sides: 23 mm
Bottom: 42 mm

5. Install the molding on the rear window.
6. Apply a thin coat of primer on the glass outside of the pad for the rear window.

A warning

Do not touch the sealant by hand.
In place of touch sealant hand it can not provide a reliable connection and in this place possible leaks after the installation of the glass.
Do not apply primer on glass, designed for the body.


7. Apply a thin coat of sealant to the initial application, extending around the perimeter of the glass. The glass must be set within 10 minutes after application of the primer.
8. Lay the glue into the syringe and put it on the edge of the rear window.

A warning

Apply the adhesive for 5 minutes after the application of a glass primer.


9. special tools or suckers, set the glass on the window opening according to earlier put labels and press the glass to the window opening.
10. spatula to remove excess adhesive. Fill in all the sinks and void on the perimeter of the rear window.
11. Directing the stream of water on the rear window, check the tightness of the installation. Do not point the fresh sealer jet of water under high pressure.
12. In the presence of leaks dry the affected area and apply a sealant.

A warning

Do not operate the vehicle for 4 hours after installation of the glass.
After installing rear window keep it within the first hour.


13. Reinstall all previously removed elements.

A warning

Within 2-3 days after installing rear window does not slam doors.
Avoid driving on rough roads where the car body is subjected to intensive twisting.
