Fuel system



TROUBLESHOOTING

When troubleshooting, start the engine to verify that the inspection and basic systems. If disrupted motor unstable engine speed idling or insufficient acceleration, check the following major systems:

1. Power supply:
- a battery;
- Fusible link;
- fuse.

2. connection with "weight"

3. Fuel supply:
- Fuel;
- fuel filter;
- fuel pump.

4. Ignition system:
- spark plug;
- high voltage wires;
- ignition coil.

5. The system of emission control:
- Crankcase ventilation system;
- Vacuum leak.

6. Others:
- Set the ignition timing;
- Idling speed.

MFI system fault is often caused by bad contacts in the harness connector. Therefore, make sure all the connectors are securely connected.

CHECK idle speed

A warning

Before checking the idle speed, make sure that the spark plugs, fuel injectors, the modulator speed of idling (ISC), compression, etc. They are in order.


Test conditions

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. The engine should be heated-up coolant temperature 80-95 ?� C.
2. Lights, parking lights, radiator fan and all consumers of electricity should be turned off.
3. Transmission should be set to the neutral position.
4. The steering wheel should be set to move straight ahead.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Attach the tachometer to the primary winding of the ignition coil or the scanner to the diagnostic socket.
2. Start the engine and let it run in the engine speed to idle.
3. No more than 5 to increase the engine speed up 2000-3000min -1, and then let it run at idle speed for 2 minutes.
4. define the tachometer idling speed.
