Test conditions

Battery voltage - 12 V.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Connect a voltmeter to the touch and body glow.
  1. Turn on the ignition and measure the voltage applied to the spark plug.
  2. Make sure that after the ignition warning lamp in the instrument cluster lights up for 6 seconds, and a voltage of about 9 V is applied to the glow plug for 36 seconds at a coolant temperature of 20 ?� C.

Time for energizing glow plugs varies depending on the coolant temperature

  1. After checking on item 3, turn the key in the ignition to START.
  2. The system is functioning properly, if the battery voltage (about 9) is applied to the glow plugs for 6 seconds for starting the engine starter when the coolant temperature is 20 ?� C.
  3. If the voltage or time poldachi voltage is not correct, check the voltage supply contact in the control unit and replace damaged components.
