A system for collecting fuel vapor prevents evaporation of fuel vapors into the atmosphere from the fuel tank, thereby preventing the formation of photochemical smog.

Fuel vapors accumulate in the canister with the activated carbon. When the engine electronic control unit opens the valve and the fuel vapor into the engine where there is their combustion.
A control valve is used to control the pressure of fuel vapors in the fuel tank.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the vacuum hose from throttle assembly and instead connect the vacuum pump with a vacuum hose.
  2. Check the following settings on the cold engine coolant temperature less than 60 ? C, on the hot engine coolant temperature over 80 ? C.

Cold engine

The operating conditions of the engine
Underpressure
Result
Idling
50 kPa
The vacuum is maintained
3000 min -1

A hot engine

The operating conditions of the engine
Underpressure
Result
Idling
50 kPa
The vacuum is maintained
Within 3 minutes after increasing the speed up to 3000min -1
Trying to change razrezhfeniya
Vacuum missing
After 3 minutes after increasing the speed up to 3000min -1
50 kPa
The vacuum is maintained briefly, then offline
