The lighting system consists of the main lights (headlights), rear lights, brake signals, rear lights, direction indicators, fog lights and rear fog lights, license plate illumination lights, interior lights, engine compartment and interior lighting. Before replacing the lamp, check the fuse and turn off the relevant consumer. Instruments and controls lighting and light signaling the vehicle shown in Fig. 7.39.

The scheme of adjustment is shown in Fig. 7.42.
Adjust the direction of the beam of headlights is carried out using the device according to the manufacturer's instructions.

NOTE
Adjust the headlights are conducted in accordance with the legislative acts in force in the area where the vehicle is operated.

The headlights adjusted by turning the adjustment screws (Fig. 7.40). In the absence of special equipment adjustment can be carried out as follows.
Set the desired pressure in the tires of the wheels. In the car there should be no cargo other than the driver, spare wheel and tool kit. Battery and headlights must be in good condition.
Place the vehicle on a flat, horizontal surface.
The screen to adjust the draw two vertical and one horizontal line. The points of intersection of the lines define the position of the centers of the light beams of headlights.
Adjusting screw move the brightest portions of the light beams at the point of intersection of the lines on the screen.
The adjustment is carried out at the dipped headlights.

Adjusting fog lamps
Adjust the fog light is made, as indicated for the headlamps, with good condition fog lamps and battery.

Adjust the direction of the beam fog lamps adjusting screw (Fig. 7.41).
The scheme of adjustment is shown in Fig. 7.42.
Turn on the dipped headlights (vehicle without a driver).

Adjust the light beams of headlights so that the upper boundary of light spots are located within the shaded area of the screen (Fig. 7.43).
Turn on the fog lights (car without a driver).

Adjust the position of the light spots so that their upper boundary is in place, as shown in Fig. 7.44 (shaded areas).

Replacing bulbs

Lamps headlamps are shown in Fig. 7.45.
To replace the headlight low / high beam Remove the cover from the back of the headlight. Disconnect the lamp output of the slots tendrils spring retainer and remove the bulb.

WARNINGS
Do not touch the bulb with bare hands. Fat fingerprints remaining on the envelope of the lamp, evaporates and can settle at reflector (reflector) that will cause it to darken. Caused by negligence spot from touching the bulb with a clean, lint-free cloth or remove the alcohol.
Be sure to replace the bulb lamps of the same type.

To replace the side light bulb, remove the cartridge from the optical element assembly with the lamp and remove the bulb from the socket.
To replace the lamp Indicator remove the connector from the cartridge, turn the cartridge assembly counterclockwise and remove it from the slot.

Disconnect the negative terminal ("-") battery.
Remove the two screws on the upper front bumper fascia.
Unscrew the headlight and disconnect connectors.
Installation is carried out in reverse order.

Removing and installing fog lights
Disconnect the negative terminal ("-") battery.
Remove the front wheel arch liner.

Remove the fog lamp by undoing the fixing screws and disconnect the connector (Fig. 7.46).
Installation of lights is carried out in reverse order.

Rear lights

Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

Remove the two screws securing the rear light (Fig. 7.47).
Disconnect the rear light connector.
Installation is carried out in reverse order.
Removal and installation of lamps installed in the tailgate, lights and parking light license plate light
Disconnect the negative terminal ("-") battery.

Remove the tailgate trim (Fig. 7.48).
Remove the license plate light bulb and disconnect the connector.
Installation is carried out in reverse order.
Removing and installing additional brake light
Disconnect the negative terminal ("-") battery.
Remove the rear spoiler by removing the four nuts (on cars with a rear spoiler).

Remove the four bolts (Fig. 7.49), disconnect the connector and remove the additional brake light.
Installation is the reverse order of removal.

Having hooked a screw-driver, remove the lens from the roof console (Fig. 7.50).
Remove the mounting screws and disconnect the connector.
Installation is carried out in reverse order.

Steering column switch
Safety precautions when removing the steering column control with cars equipped with airbags
When removing the steering column control on vehicles equipped with air bags, strictly observe the following instructions.
Dismantling or repair of the airbag module and the rotary switch is prohibited. At malfunction replace them.
Do not drop the airbag module and the rotary switch, and comes into contact with water, grease and oil. In the presence of dents, cracks or deformation, replace the damaged parts.
Airbag module install on a flat surface facing upwards. Do not place it on any objects.
Do not expose the air bag module temperature above 93 ?� C.
After airbag deployment replace the disk with a new pin.
When working with Airbag Deployment wear protective gloves and goggles.
Dispose of quiescent airbag module carried out in strict accordance with the instructions of passive safety systems.
When disconnecting the connector of the airbag module and the rotary switch does not use excessive force.
Filmed airbag module store in a dry and clean place.
When installing the rotary switch the mark on the index neutral position of the disc, set the steering wheel in the straight-ahead position and attach the pin to drive the steering column switch. If the installation of the contact disc label does not align properly with the index of its neutral position, the steering wheel when cornering will not turn a full corner or flat wire may break off inside the rotary switch, which can lead to malfunction airbags and serious injury to the driver.
Refitting
Disconnect the negative terminal ("-") battery.
Remove the airbag module by removing the three screws and disconnecting switch connector sound.

On cars without airbags, remove only the trim switch the audio signal (Fig. 7.51).

Loosen the nut of the steering wheel.
Remove the steering wheel by means of a stripper.

A WARNING
When removing the steering wheel or hit on it - so can damage the folding mechanism of the steering shaft.

Remove the cowling of the steering column by unscrewing the three screws that secure.

Remove the drive pin (Fig. 7.52).

Disconnect connectors and remove the steering column control, press down the latch (Fig. 7.53).
Installation is carried out in reverse order.
