Location of radio equipment shown in Fig. 7.80.
Block Audio Refitting Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Remove the two screws and two bolts fastening the dashboard lower trim on the driver side. Disconnect from the bottom of the dashboard facing the bonnet cable and disconnect the data link. Remove the glovebox. Disconnect the cables drive dampers adjust temperature and air distribution. Remove the clips, disconnect the connector and a screwdriver, carefully remove the central panel of the dashboard.

Remove the four screws that secure the audio unit (Fig. 7.81) Disconnect the wires and remove the audio unit. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
Speakers Refitting Front speakers Remove the screws that secure the inside door handle, remove the handle from the traction drive lock and pull off the lock, remove the inside door handle. Remove the screws that secure the front door trim with a screwdriver and carefully remove the trim.
A WARNING Used a screwdriver to remove the upholstery fabric wrap to prevent damage to the paintwork of the body. |

Remove the front speaker by unscrewing four bolts (Fig. 7.82) and disconnect the connector. Installation is carried out in reverse order. Rear Speakers Remove the screws that secure the inside door handle, remove the handle from the traction drive lock and pull off the lock, remove the inside door handle. Remove the screws that secure the front door trim with a screwdriver and carefully remove the trim.

Remove the rear speaker by removing the four screws fixing it (Fig. 7.83) and disconnect the connector. Installation is carried out in reverse order. Checking the technical condition of the speaker Check-in speaker with an ohmmeter.

Speaker defective if ohmmeter connected to the terminals ("+") and ("-") (Fig. 7.84) of the same channel it shows the desired value of the impedance (4 ohms). Another sign of health of the speaker is the click that is heard when connecting an ohmmeter to the speaker output.
Antenna Refitting

Installation whip antenna to the roof panel shown in Fig. 7.85. Flat-blade screwdriver, remove the diffuser canopy roof console. Remove the roof console, removing the two mounting screws and disconnecting pin canopy roof. Remove the antenna by unscrewing the nut. Remove the sun visor and the rail, pull down the ceiling trim and remove the antenna cable. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
