Adjust striker tailgate

Make sure the door retention tightened, and that it is securely closed. If necessary, adjust the door as follows:

Draw a line around the striker.

Loosen the striker, and move the latch lock inward or outward. Move lock striker up or down to align it with the lock hole. Then lightly tighten the screws and check the lock (Fig. 8.28).

NOTE

Keep the outside door handle outward and push the door toward the body to check whether the holder of the castle provides a tight fit.
