Withdrawal

Adjusting labels
Fig. 3.97. Adjusting labels

After application installation marks the relative position of the flange and propeller shaft flange pinion differential, remove the propeller shaft (Fig. 3.97).

NOTE
Remove the propeller shaft in the forward direction and the horizontal plane so as to prevent damage to the protective cover on the edge of the metal cover. Damage to the protective cover can be prevented and the removal operation is facilitated by inserting a piece of cloth or the like in the restriction of a protective cover.

Check
Check the fork drive shafts for wear, cracks or deformation.
Check the propeller shaft tube in the absence of deflection (heartbeat), warping and twisting.

Check smooth movement of universal joints
Fig. 3.99. Check smooth movement of universal joints

Check for smooth movement of universal joints in all planes (Fig. 3.99).
Check for smooth rotation of the bearing intermediate support propeller shaft.
Check the rubber elements of fastening of the intermediate support propeller shaft for damage and deterioration of the technical condition.
Check the flange for damage and deterioration of the technical condition.

Check propeller shaft runout
Fig. 3.100. Check propeller shaft runout

Check the propeller shaft runout with a dial gauge (Fig. 3.100).
Limit: 0.5 mm.

Setting

Position of samzki
Fig. 3.101. Position of samzki

Grease the central part of the flange (Fig. 3.101).
Recommended lubricant: ALVANIA EP # 2 (8-10 grams).
Gently insert the central part of the flange in the differential pinion gear.

Install the propeller shaft
Fig. 3.102. Install the propeller shaft

NOTE
Straighten the propeller shaft for assembly. Keep the intermediate support assembly (Fig. 3.102).

Installing the mounting bracket of the intermediate support
Fig. 3.103. Installing the mounting bracket of the intermediate support

Temporarily install the intermediate support bracket (Fig. 3.103).

NOTE
Install the intermediate support bracket so that the adjusting label ?R? was directed toward the rear of the vehicle.

The scheme of installation flange
Fig. 3.104. The scheme of installation flange

Install the flange so that the label facing upwards as shown in Figure 3.104.

Align the mark on the relative position of the propeller shaft flange and input flange of the differential. Install the propeller shaft.
Tighten the bracket intermediate support regulated torque.
Tightening torque: 40-50 Nm.
