An exhaust manifold
Fig. 2.67. Exhaust manifold: 1 - self-locking nut 25 to 30 Nm; 2, 3 - thermofilter; 4 - Bolt, 12-15 Nm; 5 - nut, 30-40 Nm; 6 - a forward exhaust pipe; 7 - the gauge of concentration of oxygen; 8 - a nut, 35-55 Nm; 9 - exhaust manifold gasket; 10 - exhaust manifold

Remove thermofilter exhaust manifold (Fig. 2.67).
Unscrew the nuts and remove exhaust manifold.
Remove the exhaust manifold gasket.

Check
Check exhaust manifold for damage or cracks.
Metal ruler and probe in several directions, check the flatness of the mating surfaces of the exhaust manifold. If the flatness exceeds the allowable limits, replace the exhaust manifold.
Tolerance of flatness - no more than 0.15 mm, the maximum permissible deviation - 0.3 mm.

Setting
Install the exhaust manifold with the new gasket and tighten the nuts:
- M8 - 25-30 Nm;
- M10 - 35-55 Nm.
Set thermofilter exhaust manifold.
