Removal and installation of the air filter



Disconnect the connector from the air flow meter.

Loosen the hose clamps and remove the air intake hose from the air filter and resonator (Fig. 2.1).
Remove the three screws on mounting brackets air filter housing.
Remove the air filter.

Remove the air flow meter to air intake hose (Fig. 2.2).

A WARNING
When disconnecting the connector from the air flow meter pull the plug, not the cord gauge.

Check the housing and the air filter and the filter element for deformation, corrosion or damage.
Check duct damage.

Removal of dust with compressed air from the top of the air filter element

Check the air filter element for the presence of contamination or damage. In the presence of minor clogging remove dust with compressed air, feeding it to the inside of the filter (Fig. 2.3).
Check the air filter for the presence of contamination or damage.
Installation is performed in reverse order of removal.
