PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
  2. Poddomkratte car and establish it on props.
  3. Remove an introduction plate.
  4. Remove the propeller shaft (s) (Chapter Clutch and transmission line). Wrap the end of the crankcase RKPP plastic bag to prevent loss of gear oil and dirt falling into the crankcase.
  5. Disconnect shift rod from the transfer case shift lever or selector lever mode (if applicable) (Chapter Transfer box).
  6. Disconnect the electrical connector of vehicle speed sensor (VSS).
  7. Release the harness from the clips on the crankcase Manual transmission.
  8. Disconnect the crankcase ventilation hoses Manual transmission and transfer case.
  9. Disconnect the electrical switch on the transfer case (if applicable).
  10. Support the engine. This can be done from the top - with the help of the winch, or from below - by jacking sump (through a piece of wood). The engine must be backed by all the time, until the transmission is removed from the vehicle.
  11. Prop Manual transmission jack - preferably specifically designed for this purpose type. Safety chain will help to secure the box on the jack.
  12. Give nuts and bolts crossbar.

Fasteners back support and crossbeam.

  1. Gently lift and remove transmission crossmember.
  2. Remove the Manual transmission transfer case (if equipped) (Chapter Transfer box).
  3. Lower Manual transmission so as to form access to the lever switch.
  4. Reaching anther gear lever at the top of RKPP remove it from the base of the lever. Slide the cover lever up the rod, creating access to the carrier arm.

Assemble the gear lever Manual transmission.

  1. To detach the gear lever from the Manual transmission:
    • Reach around the box to the top of her fingers and push down the gear lever holder.
    • To release, turn the holder counterclockwise.
    • Lift the lever, pulling it together with the holder of the base.

No need to remove the arm from the cover on a floor panel. Just leave the lever in this position until the installation of the box into place.

  1. Disconnect the wires and remove the crankshaft position sensor (Head of Systems of decrease in toxicity of the fulfilled gases and engine management). Do not lose the screws that secure the sensor.
  2. Remove the slave cylinder from clutch housing (Chapter Clutch and transmission line) and slide it to the side, freeing workspace. IN NO EVENT SHALL not disconnect hydraulic lines from the cylinder! If the lines are disconnected from the actuator cylinder pump system would be impossible. The hydraulic clutch system (master cylinder / reservoir, hydraulic lines, slave cylinder) is a one-piece, non-dismemberment assembly.

Proceed with extreme caution so as not to bend or twist the line of hydraulic couplings.

  1. Give bolts of fastening of a transmission to the engine.
  2. The last time, make sure that all the electrical connectors and hoses are disconnected from the box, and then start moving it with jack back, releasing the input shaft of the clutch housing.
  3. After the release of lower transmission input shaft and pull it out from under the car.

After removal of Manual transmission Avoid squeezing the clutch pedal.

  1. The components of the clutch can be viewed at this stage, after removing them from the engine (Chapter Clutch and transmission line). In most cases, when you install Manual transmission in place of coupling components must be replaced.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. If removed, replace the clutch components (Chapter Clutch and transmission line).
  2. After fixing the gearbox to the jack, as well as during removal, lift it at the loading position and start moving forward cautiously, entering the input shaft in the clutch disc hub (slave). Do not apply when you install the box excessive force - If the input shaft is not included in the clutch, adjust the angle and height of the Manual transmission and / or rotate the shaft slightly to properly align its splines with the splines of the hub clutch.
  3. Replace the bolts to the engine gearbox. Tighten them with demanded effort.
  4. Replace the crossbeam and gearbox support. Tighten the mounting nuts and bolts with demanded effort.
  5. Remove the jacks holding up the engine and gearbox.
  6. Replace all removed when dismantling Manual transmission components. When you install the transfer case, follow the instructions of the Head of Transfer case, install the propeller shaft according to the description given in Chapter
  7. Make sure that all wires and hoses are connected to their fitting.
  8. Make sure that the oil level in the gearbox match specification requirements (Head of Adjustment and routine maintenance).
  9. Remove the jacks and lower the car to the ground.
  10. On 4WD models, connect to the place of traction shift transfer case (Chapter Transfer box).
  11. Connect the negative cable to the battery.
  12. Perform the sea trials of the car and check for leaks.
