Drive shaft



Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Lift the car, fix on support and remove the front wheel.

2. Drain the transmission fluid from transmission.

3. Remove the cotter pin and loosen the nut of the drive shaft to the front wheel hub.

4. Remove the 2 screws and remove the ball joint on the hinge.

5. kapron hammer beat out a power shaft from the front wheel hub. If the drive shaft is firmly seated in the hub of the front wheel, spray impregnation spray solvent on the area of the splines and then re-screw the nut with flange so that it is flush with the end of the shaft. Striking on a nut a brass hammer, beat out a power shaft from a nave.

6. Tilt the outside knuckle and remove drive shaft from the front wheel hub.

7. Insert mount between an internal SHRUS drive shaft and a transmission and easy blow on mount take a power shaft from a transmission (V 6).

Do not pull the drive shaft, as this will be damaged by constant velocity joints.

8. Insert a pry bar between the transmission case and the drive shaft and easy blow on mount take a power shaft from a transmission (than V 6).

  2. Do not insert the mount is very deep, so as not to damage the oil sealing ring.

Do not lower the car on wheels when disconnecting the drive shafts because the wheel bearing will be damaged. If you want to set the car on wheels to move it, use the special tool to support the bearing hub.

9. Release the tension mechanism and remove the drive belt (engines V6).

10. Remove the generator (engines V6).

11. Remove the mounting bracket bolts of the central bearing. Insert mount between the bracket and the central bearing block and disconnect the bracket from the engine block.

12. Remove the internal hinge of a power shaft from a transmission.

13. Using the special tool, remove the ABS sensor rotor from the drive shaft.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check the boot band of the drive shaft for damage and hardening rubber.

2. Inspect the splines on the ends of the drive shaft for wear and damage.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Grease a working edge of an oil sealing ring of differential.
2. Establish a new lock ring on the internal end of the drive shaft. A push, insert a power shaft into a transmission, thus a cut of a lock ring should be at the bottom.
3. After installation, pull out the drive shaft and make sure that it is securely round clip.

4. Place the washer under the nut of the drive shaft to the hub of the convex side facing outward, as shown.

5. Tighten the following elements torques given in the specification.

  • Nut drive shaft: 200-260 N ??? m
  • The ball joint of the lower arm to the hinge: 100-120 N ??? m
