Dismantling

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the retaining ring.

2. Using the special tool (03495-33000), remove the ball bearing and reverse gear.

3. Remove the synchronizer ring, synchronizer spring (5th gear and reverse gear), the sleeve (5th gear and reverse gear).

4. Use the special tool (03495-33000), remove the sleeve and gear synchronizer of 5th transfer.

5. The special tool (09432-33200), remove the gear together 4th, 3rd, 2nd and 1st gear.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check the surface of the driven shaft in contact with the needle bearings for damage or abnormal wear.

2. Check the shaft splines for damage or wear.

3. Install the needle bearing with the bearing sleeve and the gear on the shaft. Check that the bearing rotates uniformly without abnormal noise or play.

4. Check the body of the needle bearing for damage.

5. Check the synchronizer ring teeth for damage.

6. Check the inner surface for damage, wear or damaged grooves.

7. Install the synchronizer sleeve on the sleeve and make sure it moves smoothly.
8. Check the plug for damage.

9. Check the wear surfaces of the ends of the sleeves (in contact with each gear).

Replace synchronizer hub and sleeve as a set.

10. Check the gear teeth for damage and wear.
11. Check conical gears for surface roughness, damage and wear.

12. Check the hole gear for damage and wear.

Assembly

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Install the needle bearing.

2. Install the first gear transmission.

3. Install the locking cone ring.

4. Install the synchronizer sleeve and the sleeve.

5. Set the locking cone ring.

6. Install sleeve 2nd gear and the needle bearing.

7. Using the special tool (09432-22000) set the second gear and third gear.

8. Install retaining ring.

9. Install the 4th gear transmission hub gear 5th gear, needle bearing, gear 5th gear, synchronizer ring 5th gear, the synchronizer sleeve and the hub 5th gear and reverse gear.

10. Install the needle bearing, reverse gear and driven gear sleeve.

11. Using the special tool (09432-22000) set of ball bearings and locking ring.
