Installing cable lock



Make sure that the selector lever is in position P and the ignition switch to LOCK.
Click on the lock mechanism and Abut in its bracket limiter brake pedal.

From this position, move the locking mechanism to secure the locking mechanism in the hook hole of the bracket, as shown below 3.94.

ATTENTION
The bending or twisting the cable lock when setting can adversely affect the operation of the locking mechanism.

Set the tip of a cable lock to the pin of the cam on the lever selector (Fig. 3.95).

Lay the cable lock into the U-shaped groove of the base plate and place the selector lever clamp (Fig. 3.96).

ATTENTION
Applying pressure to the cable when installing the lock latch can adversely affect the operation of the locking mechanism.

Click on the lock cable lock before it will be blocked.

Remove the pin lock mechanism as shown in Figure 3.97.
Turn the ignition key to the ACC.
Install a cable lock to the key cylinder.

Slide the outer casing to the cylinder of the key and set the clamp on the convex portion of the outer shell (Fig. 3.98).
