The switching mechanism of the automatic transmission shown in Fig. 3.88.
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the battery and battery tray.
Remove the air filter.
Remove the console.
Remove the dashboard.
Remove the control module stability control system.

Remove the air conditioner control unit (Fig. 3.89).
Remove the rear duct.
Remove the steering column trim.
Remove the clips and remove the cable lock and a cable gear selection.

NOTE
Installation is carried out in the manner indicated in Figure 3.88. Specific procedures for removal and installation described in this section.

To install a cable of a choice of transfer, you must first install it on the bracket, as shown in Figure 3.90.
Before replacing the gear selection cable, check that the selector lever is in position P.

Lock the cable lock gear selection (by the selector lever) in the order shown in Figure 3.91.

Check the manual shift shaft

Check that the manual shaft is in position P (Fig. 3.92).

ATTENTION
When installing the gear selection cable, hold it straight. Kinking rope gear selection, as shown in Figure 3.92, will result in damage to the cable, it can cause a weakening of the cable when switching.

NOTE
Set the selector lever on the manual shift lever shaft so that the spring tip gear selection cable is facing toward the front of the vehicle (Fig. 3.93).

Set the selector lever on the manual shift lever shaft so that the gear selection cable was not loaded.
Make sure that the end of the lever of the manual shift shaft comes out of the tip of a cable gear selection.
Install selector cable into the bracket.
