Removal, check and installation of the steering wheel and steering column
The steering gear has a rotary control valve directing the fluid from the power steering pump to one side or the other of the piston rack steering. The piston and rack up one integral part of the steering mechanism. Piston rack converts fluid pressure to a linear force which moves the rack to the left or right. This power is transmitted through the tie rods and tie-rods to the steering knuckles, which turn the front wheels. When a fault-steering control of the vehicle is carried out as usual. However, more efforts are needed. Rotational movement of the steering wheel is transferred to the pinion. When you rotate the gear teeth mesh with its teeth of the rack, thereby causing the rack to move.
