Removing stains
Do not use petrol, strong solvents or corrosive cleansers. This may damage the paint. To remove road tar, use a clean, soft cloth dampened with turpentine. Be careful. To remove the remains of insects or tar, use warm water and mild neutral detergent solution or car wash. Dampen a sponge and gently rub the soiled surface. If the coating has lost its shine, use a commercially available car polish.
