General information and safety measures for Inspection and maintenance of the car
Regular maintenance on the vehicle. When selecting the viscosity of engine oil is necessary to consider the prevailing ambient temperature range during the period until the next oil change. NOTE Consumption of motor oil in the engine is normal during operation of the vehicle. The consumption of engine oil due primarily burn the oil film on the cylinder walls, the combustion of oil that has entered the cylinder chamber through the crankcase ventilation system, and evaporation losses. The natural flow of motor oil for the serviceable engine can be up to 0.8 liters per 1000 km of running a car. At the beginning of operation of the vehicle when there is a break-in period of the engine parts, engine oil consumption may exceed the specified value. Consumption of motor oil depends on the operating conditions of the engine (engine speed and load), and the manner of driving. With a dynamic style of the high-speed driving when the engine is in the forced modes, engine oil consumption increases and may exceed the above amount. |
