| Fig. 14.39. Elements of fastening of the main fuse box
|
In addition to the fuse box mounted under the dashboard on the driver side, the main fuse box is located on the left side in the engine compartment (Fig. 14.39). Current Fuse protection is shown in the cover. Before replacing the fuse, disconnect the central wire from the negative terminal of the battery, then open the terminal cover of the fuse box. To replace the fuse on the 30 or 40 A simply remove the old fuse and insert a new one. To replace the fuse in the 80 A, remove the fuse. Remove the side cover and disconnect the two wires from the fuse contacts. Remove the old fuse and insert the new one, then complete the installation in the reverse order of removal.
Headlights

On cars later releases dual lights on the sides of the radiator grille integrated into one (Fig. 14.40). Removal and installation of headlights similar to the removal and installation of lights provided in Sec. 13 "Electric." Replacing bulbs In dash car's release later installed lamps in two sizes, but the operations are similar to their replacement lamp replacement operations, described in Sec. 13 "Electric." To replace bulbs in rear lamp cluster, open the rear door or the trunk lid, remove the screws, remove the clips and remove the carpet in front of a back lantern.

Remove the bulbs, then remove it from the bulb by pressing it and turning clockwise (Fig. 14.41). Installation is performed in reverse order of removal. To replace the bulb lights up when you open the door, remove the screws, remove the lens and pull out the lamp. Install the new lamp, diffuser and screw the screw. To replace the lamp lighting rheostat rheostat and remove from the back side, remove the bulb holder. Installation of the new lamp is held in reverse order of removal.
Radio To remove the radio from the side clamps wall socket must use two plates key. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

|
Remove the radio trim panel, insert the two plates in the key holes on the sides of the radio, reject them apart, leaving vacant retaining clips and pull the radio (Fig. 14.42). Disconnect the wires from the radio antenna, speakers and power. Installation is performed in reverse order of removal.
Device combination Removal and installation of the instrument cluster Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Lower the steering column or remove a steering wheel. Remove the column cover. In the engine compartment, unscrew the connecting plug and unplug the cable of a drive of a speedometer from a transmission. Remove the cable from the mounting bracket and push it as far as possible through the bulkhead. Unscrew the facing panel of the instrument cluster, remove it from the instrument panel and disconnect the connector from the switch. Remove the screws and pull as far as possible, a combination of devices to access its rear side. Disconnect the cable and speedometer drive, remove the instrument cluster. Installation is performed in reverse order of removal. Repair of the instrument cluster

Removing the elements of the combination of digital devices performed as follows (Fig. 14.44): - bracket; - frame; - glass; - The block pointers; - speedometer; - Odometer; - printed circuit board; - Housing.
Switches dashboard Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Lower the steering column or remove a steering wheel. Unscrew the facing panel of the instrument cluster, remove it from the instrument panel and disconnect the connector from the switch. Remove the screws and disconnect the unit from the switch panel trim. Installation is performed in reverse order of removal.
Replacement lamps for reading cards Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Remove the cover from the lining of the lamp.
